Absolutely unique solid metal (100% lead free) casted anglo boer war chess set.The set contains a british and a boer side, scaled at 54mm (1/35). The set can be ordered painted or unpainted. The set comes standard with an indigeneous wood chess board.

The british side has Lord Roberts and Queen victoria as king and queen, whereas the boer side has Paul Kruger and a "Boere Vraau". The british rook is a blockhouse and the boer's an ox wagon.Both have mounted figures for the knights. The bishops are flag bearers, Union Jack's for the british and the "Transvaal" and "Orange Free State" flags for the boers. The Pawns are Boer commando's and British line infantry.
